We went to Israel Summer 2011 for about 2 weeks. We got to stay in the Old City, travel to the Dead Sea and walk where Jesus walked. An incredible pilgrimage that made the stories of the Bible more tangible and gave us a deeper understanding of their cultural, geographical and historical significance. This is where we got J.J.’s wedding ring (unbeknownst to him): at the same store where he bought her hebrew necklace a few years earlier. He used that necklace to first “tell” her he loved her.
